Dynamic Team Leader- As a certified Customs Border Control Agent (CBCA) and adhering to United States Customs and Department of Agriculture standards, Petty Officer Costco scheduled, lead, participated in, and assisted in more than 200 customs missions that consisted of more than 1234 personnel, inspecting greater than 10,500 baggage items, equipment, vehicles, 200 ISU containers and 130 463L pallets. He also accounted for over 700 sensitive items worth a combined total of $2.5 million for redeploying military members and contractors.

As Customs officer, MA2 Cauldwell oversaw over 200 flights with over 1000 passengers ensuring that Atsugi Naval Base remains compliant with the SOFA agreement. In addition, Petty officer Cauldwell overhauled and revised the Customs Program, making the process easier for future MCOs and AMCOs.

As Special Boat Team Twenty-Two Command Air Mobility Coordinator, SB2 Nelson flawlessly planned, tracked and supervised 47 MILAIR flights across 10 countries for 277 personnel ranging from SWCC, SEAL, and CSS, to civilian. He conducted 13 MILAIR joint inspections and 15 customs inspections. SB2 Nelson also provided 100 hours of instruction in HAZMAT and load planning for 42 members.

FOR PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS SECURITY WATCH COMMANDER AT COOPERATIVE SECURITY LOCATION COMALAPA, EL SALVADOR FROM JULY 2015 TO APRIL 2017. MA2 (EXW) WASHINGTON SUPERVISED FIVE MILITARY AND CIVILIAN PERSONNEL IN PROVIDING FORCE PROTECTION TO U.S. NAVY, U.S. ARMY, U.S. CUSTOMS AND BORDER PATROL, AND U.S. COAST GUARD ASSETS IN SUPPORT OF U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND'S COUNTER-NARCOTIC MISSION. HIS SECTION CONDUCTED OVER 3,156 VEHICLE AND PERSONNEL INSPECTIONS, 126 RANDOM ANTI TERRORISM MEASURES, AND OVER 2,500 FLIGHT LINE PERIMETER CHECKS LEADING TO THE SAFE DEPLOYMENT OF NUMEROUS PATROL FLIGHTS, RESULTING IN COCAINE AND MARIJUANA SEIZURES WORTH MORE THAN $900,000,000. AS THE COMMAND FITNESS LEADER, HE LED TWO ACFLS IN TESTING 28 MEMBERS, RESULTING IN A 100% PASS RATE AND ENSURING MISSION READINESS THROUGHOUT THE COMMAND. MA2 (EXW) WASHINGTON'S IMPECCABLE PERFORMANCE, INITIATIVE, AND DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
