Professional achievement while serving as lead diver at U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center, Yokosuka, Japan from 20 June to 15 July 2014. Petty Officer Dougherty consistently performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. Displaying exceptional technical skills as a diver, in arduous environmental conditions, he executed an extensive, critical repair to USS CHUGGER (SB 28) propellers, which involved the waterborne removal and reinstallation of 10 CPP propeller blades and replacement of seals. In water temperatures of 38 degrees Farenheit, he completed 62 hours and 17 minutes of bottom time. These actions saved the Navy over one million dollars in dry-docking and contractor expenses and enabled a warship to meet mission on time. Petty Officer Dougherty's oustanding performance and loyal devotion to duty reflected credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.

Professional achievement in the superior performance of her duties as Ship's Barber in USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) from February 2014 to October 2014. Petty Officer Eaddy performed her duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. As the Ship's barber she managed the daily operation of the barbershop ensuring all sanitation regulations were followed in accordance with the Ship's barber instructions. Trained and supervised 16 Marine barbers ensuring that all were medically cleared. Dedicated and professional, shipmate provided 1536 quality haircuts with the highest level of customer service. She served as a critical member of the Small Craft Action Team, and displaying exceptional skills, she directly contributed to the Best in Class Ship Store and Ship Store Retail and Service Excellence award. Petty Officer's Eaddy's personal initiative and unswerving devotion to duty reflected great credit upon herself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.



Professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as Tactical Craft Navigator for Coastal Riverine Squadron Four from March 2013 to august 2014. As a Tactical Craft Navigator, he exercised exemplary leadership while executing the safe escort of 8 high value assists and standing 250 hours of static defense in support of operations Enduring Freedom, joint ammunition resupply mission, and 13th MEU sea lane operations. As sentry CTU 56.7.1, managed a robust entry control point security team and 396 hours of base security and vessel vetting operations, ensuring the safety and successful completion of 58 missions. Additionally, he had a positive impact serving as a certified cummings diesel technician spearheading the evolution of complete overhaul and rebuild of two 6BTA5.9 Cummins main propulsion diesel engines while saving the Navy in excess of 92,000 dollars in outside contracting costs Petty Officer Graves' professionalism and devotion to duty reflected credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.



For professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as COMNAVMARIANAS Guam Fleet Mooring Inspection Project Supervisor for Underwater Construction Team TWO Construction Diving Detachment Charlie from 28 February to 04 April 2014. Petty Officer Knolla's inspiring leadership, managerial acumen and personal initiative were instrumental in the efficient collection of condition information for 19 fleet moorings and soil condition information supporting four fleet mooring relocations. In addition, his superior responsivness enabled the completion of an expedient inspection of the EX-AFDB-8 dry dock mooring system, increasing the Fleet's ship repair capabilities in the Western Pacific Theatre. His exceptional leadership, distinctive ingenuity and loyal devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.

AIRMAN GUBATINA DEMONSTRATED OUTSTANDING TECHNICAL SKILL AND PERSONAL INITIATIVE AS HE EFFICIENTLY ENHANCED FLEET READINESS BY MANAGING THE CARRIER AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (CATCC) SIMULATOR, PROVIDING COMPLEX AND REAL LIFE SCENARIOS TO AVIATION PERSONNEL. HE DIRECTLY IMPROVED THE QUALITY OF 13 CATCC TEAM TRAINERS, CONSISTING OF OVER 260 FLEET CARRIER AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS RESULTING IN OVER 1,040 SIMULATOR HOURS OF TRAINING AND 1,350 SIMULATED CARRIER RECOVERIES. IN ADDITION, HE COMPLETED OVER 150 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE BY TEACHING MARTIAL ARTS THROUGH THE NAVY MORALE WELFARE AND RECREATION PROGRAM. AIRMAN GUBATINA’S INITIATIVE, PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.



PROFESSINAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PREFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES AS HOSPITAL CORPSMAN AT NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER SAN DIEGO, FROM JULY 2012 TO JULY 2014. HOSPITALMAN CHUNN ENSURED 4,275 PIECES OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT WERE SAFE FOR PATIENT USE, ENSURING PROPER PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE WITH ZERO PATIENT INTERUPTIONS. HIS DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED ON THE JOINT COMMISSION SURVEY WITH 0 HITS FOR THE COMMAND. HIS COMMITMENT TO HIGH QUALITY STAFF COMPETENCY IN THE UPKEEP AND ORGANIZATION OF 650 OFFICER AND ENLISTED TRAINING RECORDS,RESULTED IN 100% ACCURACY. WHILE ASSIGNED TO OASIS COMPREHENSIVE PTSD CLINIC HE PLAYED A KEY IN 20 PATIENTS PSYCH ASSESSMENTS, STABILITY SURVEYS AS WELL AS COMPUTER DATABASE RECORDS. HIS ENTHUSIASM FOR HIS JOB RESULTED IN 50 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.
