-OPERATIONAL PROWESS. Produced and disseminated 400 METOC analyses and forecasts while underway aboard USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Her timely and precise forecasting skills were critical in the safe transfer/on-load of 1,230 tons of ordnance and the completion of Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training, Amphibious Ready Group/Marine Expeditionary Unit Integrated Training and Exercise, and Composite Training Unit Exercise.
-STANDOUT EXPERTISE. Provided 30 Intelligence (INTEL) updates to the Information Warfare Commander (IWC) increasing Battlespace Awareness. Her clear and concise presentation of Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) and METOC support products were vital in daily INTEL updates across the three pillars of the IWC construct.
-BLOSSOMING LEADERSHIP. Oversaw the collection of over 700 observations and the creation of over 100 EMW products in support of small boat, aviation and amphibious operations. Additionally, her Sailors completed three Messenger of the Watch and three Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualifications.

As East Zone Supervisor, she managed 30 Joint service members and oversaw the production of more than 2,000 Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts while providing resource protection for 38 DoD sites and $27 billion in DoD assets. Her impeccable aviation support for the POTUS and SECNAV was flawless during their PACOM visit. She was instrumental in the 99.5% triennial inspection score earned by Hickam's 17th Operational Weather Squadron, the highest in USAF weather. Her ability to effectively train led to 20 watch floor qualifications mitigating an FDO manning shortage.




Served as Contingency Operations Supervisor at Fleet Weather Center Aviation Detachment (FWCAD) Germany and 21st Operational Weather Squadron (OWS), Kapaun Air Base, Germany. AG1 Montgomery provided full spectrum weather support to USEUCOM, USAFRICOM, USCENTCOM and NATO operations supporting Navy, Air Force, Army and combined/joint forces. His leadership was vital to the production of more than 8,000 Theater Area Forecasts and 4,000 WWAs, 321 Joint Operation Area Forecasts, and 188 Staff level briefs in support of FWCAD, Germany and 21st OWS missions. AG1 Montgormery was the driving force behind the command's move from Sembach to Kapaun. His meticulous attention to detail was directly responsible for 100% readiness of all equipment, which ensured operations continued without degradation or delays.




Petty Officer Davidson led 29 junior personnel in support of Operation XXXXXXX and Operation XXXXXXX. He oversaw a well organized and highly efficient Night Operations workcenter and implemented extremely effective processes that ensured all newly reporting personnel were able to quickly integrate into department operations and reduced the time required to be qualified by 40%. As Alpha Company Reports Petty Officer, Petty Officer Davidson gave process improvement suggestions that led to updates to the new Alpha Reporting system. These changes increased accuracy and efficiency in data gathering and reporting and had a positive impact on the overall reporting system and facilitated staffing for future customs missions.




Aerographer's Mate First Class Petty Officer Nightly, demonstrating extraordinary commitment, assumed the administrative tasking of a higher ranking officer. She directly aided in the production of Naval Oceanography and Special Warfare Command’s first operational policy instruction, spending over 80 off-duty hours, spanning 3 months of coordination across 4 different NSW Groups, 6 SEAL Teams and 2 Resource Centers. Her efforts led to the creation of NOSWC's first manual governing policy and guidelines for METOC personnel supporting NSW operations world-wide.




Excelled as the CTG 67.8 Launch and Recovery Element Forecaster. His operational experience and laser-focus on the mission was an indispensable element in over 300 successful flights totaling over 6,000 incident-free flight hours.

Researched and implemented reach-back weather support for the Trident Reach mission by exploiting the capabilities of CJTF-HOA METOC to ensure continuous readiness.

He provided professional assistance to the ASW Forecaster Duty Officer in the production, dissemination and briefing of over 100 tactical ASW environmental briefs in support of several multi-national exercises in the WESTPAC that included MULTISAIL, KEEN SWORD, TALISMAN SABER, and real world operations. He also assisted in the preparation of 23 wind plume distribution briefs in support of OPERATION TOMODACHI after the massive 9.0 earthquake that affected Japan.

Assumed, without orders, the administrative responsibilities of an absent officer. He spent over 80 off-duty hours, spanning 3 months of coordination across 3 different NSW Groups, 6 SEAL Teams and 2 Resource Centers, directly contributing to the completion of Naval Oceanography and Special Warfare Command’s first operational policy instruction.

As an Oceanographic Forecaster Duty Officer, AG1 provided over 250 flawless oceanographic and acoustic products.




For Outstanding Achievement while serving Naval Oceanographic Anti-Submarine Warfare Command, Stennis Space Center. AG1 assisted over 30 personnel in their pursuit of Oceanographic Forecaster and Technician qualifications. He applied his extensive background and experience in multiple ASW exercises and work up cycles, including The War of 1812, Sea Combat Commander's Course 36 (SCC36), CCSG-10's predeployment work-ups and the tracking of a real world 'Out of Area' deployer, case L-XXX. Petty Officer Nored also served as lead forecaster for a 'fly-away team' during a real-world 'Out of Area' deployed threat in the Fall of 2013.
