Aviation Electronics Technician (AT)
Volunteered to travel to Air Station Clearwater and expeditiously installed an Engine Monitoring System wiring harness. As a result the 2006 was returned to Fully Mission Capable status and returned to home station. Traveled to Naval Air Station Pax River to troubleshoot a stick pusher fail. Arrived at the CG2003 and quickly diagnosed the copilot yoke, autopilot disengage switch to be the fault. Completed the repair promptly ensuring that the aircraft was once again available for MINOTAUR testing.
Motivated technician: He trained ten sailors in uninstalling and installing LED rack light fixtures, while also installing 483 LED rack light fixtures in seven berthing spaces and 22 state rooms.
DYNAMIC SAILOR. Displaying uncommon drive, she has logged more than 3400 hours in USMAPS towards Aircraft Electrician certifications, created and conducted one Sailor 360 lecture for deployed sailors, and volunteered 14 off-duty hours to community initiatives in California and Guam.
