PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AS WEAPONS DEPARTMENT G-1 AVIATION WEAPONS SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (AWSE) WORKCENTER LEADING PETTY OFFICER ONBOARD USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN77) FROM JANUARY 2023 TO AUGUST 2024. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER ROBERT PAULSON PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DEMONSTRATING SUPERIOR LEADERSHIP, HE LED 15 SAILORS IN THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 1,630 MAINTENANCE CHECKS ON SUPPORT EQUIPMENT, REQUIRING OVER 12,500 MAN HOURS OF SHIP'S FORCE WORK, AND DIRECTLY SUPPORTING THE OPTIMIZED FLEET RESPONSE PLAN. ADDITIONALLY, HE LED 35 SAILORS IN THE RECEIPT, STRIKE UP, AND OFFLOAD OF 3,348 TONS OF CONVENTIONAL ORDNANCE THROUGH A MAJOR AMMUNITION OFFLOAD VALUED AT 440 MILLION DOLLARS WITH ZERO MISHAPS. PETTY OFFICER PAULSON'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS LEADING PETTY OFFICER OF AVIATION WEAPONS SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (AWSE) DIVISION NAVAL MUNITIONS COMMAND DETACHMENT KEY WEST FROM APRIL 2018 TO JUNE 2020. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER SYDNEY GROSSE PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER.AS LEADING PETTY OFFICER, PETTY OFFICER GROSSE LED SIX SAILORS IN THE COMPLETION OF 1020 MAINTENANCE ACTIONS ON 579 IMRL ASSETS, ACCUMULATING 1,802 MAN HOURS AND IMPROVING THE "READY FOR ISSUE" PERCENTAGE BY 15 PERCENT, RESULTING IN A 97 PERCENT "RFI" RATE FOR WORK CENTER 731. PETTY OFFICER GROSSE'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS ARMAMENT WEAPONS SUPPORT EQUIPMENT SHIFT SUPERVISOR AND COLLATERAL DUTY INSPECTOR AT NAVAL MUNITIONS COMMAND PACIFIC DET WHIDBEY ISLAND FROM SEPTEMBER 2020 TO OCTOBER 2021. PETTY OFFICER PETERSEN DEMONSTRATED EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND KEEN ATTENTION TO DETAIL AS HE LED NINE AWSE TECHNICIANS IN THE MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF OVER 1,110 SUPPORT EQUIPMENT ASSETS DURING THE COURSE OF A COMPLETE REBASE OF ALL ASSETS, PROVIDING 32 TENNANT COMMANDS WITH READY FOR ISSUE GEAR. HIS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION LED TO THE SAFE COMPLETION OF OVER 1825 MAINTENANCE MAN HOURS AND THE SAFE DELIVERY OF OVER 7,000 POUNDS OF ORDNANCE. ADDITIONALLY, AS THE DIVISION'S TRAINING PETTY OFFICER, HE CONSISTANTLY PROVIDED SAGE GUIDANCE AND THOROUGH TRAINING FOR HIS WORK CENTER, PROVIDING THE COMMAND WITH COMPLETELY QUALIFIED SAILORS IN ONLY THREE MONTHS. PETTY OFFICER PETERSEN'S DISTINCTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND STEADFAST DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
