PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS OPERATIONS OFFICER DURING BALTIC OPERATIONS (BALTOPS) 2019 IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF COMMANDER, U.S. SECOND FLEET AND COMMANDER, TASK FORCE ONE SIX TWO EMBARKED STAFFS ABOARD USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC 20) IN JUNE 2019. CAPTAIN PERRY PERFORMED HIS DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER DURING THE LARGEST BALTOPS EXERCISE IN DECADES. HIS ACTIONS CONTRIBUTED TO STRENGTHENING STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS 18 NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION AND PARTNER NATIONS WHICH RESULTED IN THE INCREASED INTEROPERABILITY AND INTEGRATED WARFIGHTING CAPABILITY OF BALTOPS NAVAL AND MARINE FORCES. CAPTAIN PERRY'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS INFORMATION WARFARE DIRECT SUPPORT ELEMENT SUPERVISOR AND OPERATOR ON USS GRAVELY (DDG 107) FROM 15 APRIL 2019 TO 22 JUNE 2019. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER JENKINS DISPLAYED OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AND TECHNICAL ACUMEN DURING BALTOPS 2019 AND STANDING NAVAL MARITIME GROUP ONE'S DEPLOYMENT. HER TARGET EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN PROVIDING INDICATIONS AND WARNING SUPPORT TO THE COMMANDING OFFICER, TACTICAL ACTION OFFICER, AND OFFICERS OF THE WATCH WHILE ONBOARD, ENSURING FULL OPERATIONAL READINESS AND UNPRECEDENTED TACTICAL ADVANTAGE. SHE PRIORITIZED AND PROCESSED 666 SIGNALS OF INTEREST, AUTHORED 26 TIME-SENSITIVE REPORTS, AND 33 DAILY REPORTS TO THE C6F CRYPTOLOGIC RESOURCE COORDINATOR. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER JENKINS' EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS THE ASSISTANT BATTLE WATCH CAPTAIN DURING BALTOPS 2014. IN THIS IMPORTANT POSITION, PETTY OFFICER CHESNEY PROVIDED DAILY OPERATIONAL SUPPORT TO CTF 162 DURING THIS MULTINATIONAL EXERCISE INVOLVING 14 COUNTRIES, IMPROVING THE OVERALL MARITIME CAPABILITIES AND COORDINATED RESPONSE ACROSS ALLIED FORCES. AS ASSISTANT COMMAND CAREER COUNSELOR, SHE CONDUCTED 57 CDBs, 12 MANDATORY PRE-SEP COUNSELINGS, AND SUBMITTED 51 CWAY APPLICATIONS. HER EXPANSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF CAREER INFORMATION PROGRAMS AND PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT WITH ALL PERSONNEL IMPROVED RETENTION AND ADVANCEMENT AND EARNED ESG-2 THE RETENTION EXCELLENCE AWARD. PETTY OFFICER CHESNEY'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS OT DIVISION'S LEAD SUPERVISOR ONBOARD USS SAN ANTONIO (LPD 17) FROM JANUARY 2013 TO FEBRUARY 2016. CTR2 POWERS DEDICATED MORE THAN 3000 MAN HOURS TO OPERATIONS DURING 5TH AND 6TH FLEET OPERATONS DURING THE KEARSARGE ARG DEPLOYMENT IN 2013 AND 6TH FLEET OPERATIONS IN THE BALTIC SEA IN 2015. HE PROCESSED AND DISSEMINATED OVER 5000 SIGNALS OF INTEREST TO NATIONAL AND LOCAL TACTICAL CONSUMERS AND PROVIDED OVER 1100 INDICATION AND WARNING MESSAGES TO COMFIFTHFLT AND COMSIXTHFLT DURING BALTOPS 2015. IN ADDITION, HE SUPERVISED AND TRAINED SIX JUNIOR SAILORS IN SIGNAL COLLECTION, PROCESSING, AND DISSEMINATION IN SUPPORT OF AOR TASKING AND SYSTEM QUALIFICATIONS. PETTY OFFICER POWERS' EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
