AS COMBAT SYSTEMS TRAINING TEAM TECHNICAL LEADER, HE LED 17 DRILLS PRODUCING 30 NEWLY QUALIFIED WATCHSTANDERS, RESULTING IN INCREASED TACTICAL KNOWLEDGE AND WARFIGHTING CAPABILITIES OF BAINBRIDGE DURING A SEVEN MONTH DEPLOYMENT TO THE COMMANDER SIXTH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY. ADDITIONALLY, AS COMBAT SYSTEMS TECHNICAL PUBLICATION LIBRARIAN PETTY OFFICER, HE DE-CONFLICTED AND SCHEDULED THE COMPLETION OF 5,234 PLANNED MAINTENANCE SYSTEMS CHECKS ACROSS THREE DEPARTMENTS AND KEPT AN INVENTORY OF 2,789 TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS, ENSURING THE HIGHEST STATE OF READINESS. BY HIS NOTEWORTHY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PERSEVERANCE, AND DEVOTION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER SAILOR REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS COMBAT SYSTEMS TRAINING TEAM WARFARE LEAD, COMMANDER, LITTORAL COMBAT SHIP SQUADRON ONE FROM MARCH 2015 TO FEBRUARY 2018. PETTY OFFICER SEAMAN WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE EXECUTION OF 367 TRAINING EVENTS AND 177 CERTIFICATION EVENTS ACROSS THE SURFACE WARFARE, NCVBSS, AND SMALL CALIBER ACTION TEAM MISSION AREAS, RESULTING IN 11 CREW CERTIFICATIONS ACROSS BOTH FREEDOM AND INDEPENDENCE VARIANTS. IN ADDITION, HIS TECHNICAL EXPERTISE WAS PIVOTAL IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF 30MM MGWS LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE EXAMS, ASA CHECK SHEETS, AND THE LCSRON TRAMAN REVISION. FINALLY, HIS DEDICATION TO SERVICE LED HIM TO VOLUNTEER WITH NBSD AUXILIARY FORCE, STANDING 358 HOURS OF ARMED SENTRY WATCH. PETTY OFFICER SEAMAN'S INITIATIVE, PERSEVERANCE, AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS COMBAT SYSTEMS TRAINING TEAM MEMBER, LITTORAL COMBAT SHIP SQUADRON TWO, FROM FEBRUARY 2016 TO JANUARY 2019. AS A COMMAND, CONTROL AND COMMUNICATIONS WARFARE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT, HE DEDICATED OVER 2000 HOURS TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF LCSRON TWO'S WARFARE DOCTRINE. HIS EXPERTISE WAS CRITICAL IN THE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT OF FIVE LITTORAL COMBAT SHIPS, TEN CREWS, AND FIVE DETACHMENTS, DELIVERING MORE THAN 400 HOURS OF MATERIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE, AND PROCEDURAL TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT, RESULTING IN AN AVERAGE CERTIFICATION SCORE OF NINETY FIVE PERCENT. SERGEANT MASON'S OUTSTANDING MOTIVATION AND DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE MARINE CORPS AND THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
