HIS ABILITY TO FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER COMMANDS SUCH AS MALS-29, MALS-26, HMLA-167, HMLA-269 AND MALS-14, GREATLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE HMLA-467 SABERS. HIS LEADERSHIP AND OVERSIGHT OF MORE THAN $3,000,000 WORTH OF TOOLS, GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND IMRL ASSETS WAS PARTICULARLY NOTEWORTHY. PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS SUPPLY LCPO AND IMRL MANAGER FROM APRIL 2009 TO APRIL 2011. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER OVERLIE DISPLAYED EXCEPTIONAL ORGANIZATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE WITH THE EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF 20 SAILORS UTILIZING A BUDGET OF OVER $350,000 IN 7B FUEL AND 7F OPEN PURCHASE FUNDS FOR THE SQUADRON AND OVER $30,000 IN CW9 OPTAR FUNDS IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF OVER 980 SUCCESSFUL SQUADRON FLIGHT HOURS. IN ADDITION, AS THE IMRL MANAGER HE COMPLETED OVER 740 TRANSACTIONS, TWO WALL TO WALL INVENTORIES FOR OVER 1180 IMRL ITEMS IN EXCESS OF OVER 8 MILLION DOLLARS WHILE MAINTAINING 100% ACCOUNTABILITY AND ACCURACY. HIS PROGRAM CURRENTLY HAS A CNAF GRADE OF 144 OUT OF 150 AND HAS BEEN LABELED AS THE MODEL FOR COMHSCWINGPAC. PETTY OFFICER OVERLIE'S PROFESSIONALISM, INITIATIVE, AND LOYAL DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AS AIRCRAFT INTERMEDIATE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT IMRL MANAGER AND SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR ONBOARD USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD 8) FROM NOVEMBER 2017 TO JUNE 2018. PETTY OFFICER COLEMAN COORDINATED THE DOCUMENTATION OF 3,375 PIECES OF SUPPORT EQUIPMENT TOTALING 32 MILLION DOLLARS ENSURING A 100 PERCENT WALL TO WALL INVENTORY. SHE LED A NALCOMIS SERVER REBUILD TO REPLACE SEVEN HARD DRIVES RESULTING IN 3,923 AUTOMATED LOGSET TRANSFERS DURING THE 16-17 WESTPAC DEPLOYMENT. AS TRAINING PETTY OFFICER, SHE TRAINED AND QUALIFIED 12 AIMD PETTY OFFICERS AS FULL FUNCTIONING ASM FLEET ADMINISTRATORS. ADDITIONALLY, SHE ACCOUNTED FOR 640 TRAINING SESSIONS AND MONITORED 517 ELECTRONIC TRAINING JACKETS THAT ACCOUNTED FOR 3,870 MAINTENANCE AND MEDICAL QUALIFICATIONS. PETTY OFFICER COLEMAN'S PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
