Limited Duty (LIMDU) Coordinator
MERITORIOUS SERVICE AS FORCE HEALTH PROTECTION LEADING PETTY OFFICER AND COMMAND LIMITED DUTY (LIMDU) COORDINATOR AT CRYPTOLOGIC WARFARE GROUP SIX, FORT MEADE, MARYLAND FROM AUGUST 2016 TO MAY 2019. PETTY OFFICER SMITH PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP TO 11 MULTI-SERVICE PROVIDERS AND 7 CORPSMEN THAT PROVIDED MEDICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO OVER 5,000 PERSONNEL ACROSS 15 DIFFERENT COMMANDS. HIS PROFESSIONALISM INFLUENCED THE EXECUTION OF 2,500 PERIODIC HEALTH ASSESSMENTS, 13,000 VACCINATIONS, 720 DEPLOYMENT SCREENINGS, AND 380 MEDICAL REENLISTMENT APPROVALS WHICH IMPROVED OVERALL MEDICAL READINESS FROM 80% TO 95%. ADDITIONALLY, HE TRACKED THE MEDICAL REHABILITATION OF 188 SAILORS AND MARINES IN VARIOUS PHASES OF THE LIMDU/PHYSICAL EVALUATION BOARD (PEB) PROCESS. HIS EFFORTS RETURNED 89 TO FULL DUTY, REFERRED 66 PERSONNEL TO PEB, MEDICALLY SEPARATED OR RETIRED 47 AND TRANSFERRED 3 TO WALTER REED'S WOUNDED WARRIOR BATTALION WITH 0 DISCREPANCIES. BY HIS NOTEWORTHY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PERSEVERANCE, AND DEVOTION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER SMITH REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
LEADING PETTY OFFICER AND RBE LIMITED DUTY (LIMDU) COORDINATOR FOR 1st BATTALION 6th MARINES CHARLIE COMPANY FROM APRIL 2018 TO JULY 2019. PETTY OFFICER SAILOR PERFORMED HER DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER WHILE FILLING MULTIPLE E-5 BILLETS SIMULTANEOUSLY. SHE WAS HAND SELECTED TO DEPLOY WITH TASK FORCE 9.7. AS 3RD PLATOON CORPSMAN, DURING WHICH SHE STOOD OVER 500 HOURS OF STAND-BY AND REACT MOUNTED QRF FOR TALIL LOGISTICS BASE. IN ADDITION, SHE OVERSAW THE MODIFICATION OF THE TALIL LOGISTICS BASE UP-ARMORED MED-EVAC PLATFORM WHICH ENHANCED THE BASE'S ABILITY TO TRANSPORT PATIENTS WHILE UNDER INDIRECT FIRE SAFELY. FURTHER, SHE ASSUMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CHAIN OF COMMAND'S LIMDU PROGRAM AND ENSURED ALL 30 LIMDU MARINES WHERE PROPERLY TRACKED AND PROCESSED ADMINISTRATIVELY RESULTING IN 100% ACCOUNTABILITY. PETTY OFFICER SAILOR'S PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
