HE CONDUCTED 87 HOURS ON 27 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT, MAINTAINING 100% ACCURACY AND OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY WHILE QUALIFYING SIX DUTY ARMORERS. DURING THIS PERIOD, CORPORAL BROWN PERFORMED HIS DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY FASHION, KEEPING THE UNIT COMBAT READY BY SINGLE HANDEDLY MAINTAINING ALL WEAPONS SYSTEMS EFFECTIVENESS. PETTY OFFICER BEY TRAINED AND LEAD 12 SAILORS IN ARMORY MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS TO INCLUDE THE PROPER MAINTENANCE, ISSUE, RECEIPT, AND TRANSFER OF CUSTODY OF ALL NSWG-1 ASSETS VALUED AT MORE THAN $68,000,000. IN ADDITION, HE MANAGED THE SAFE HANDLING, STOWAGE, ISSUE, AND RECEIPT OF 66,000 ROUNDS OF SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION SUPPORTING 35 LIVE FIRE TRAINING EVOLUTIONS WITH ZERO DISCREPANCIES. HIS FLAWLESS OVERSIGHT RESULTED IN 100% ORDNANCE ACCOUNTABILITY. AS A LEAD INSTRUCTOR DURING CNT 038N, PETTY OFFICER LUTZ'S EXEMPLARY PROFESSIONALISM AND VAST KNOWLEDGE CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY TO THE TRAINING AND PREPARATION OF THE NIGERIAN SPECIAL BOAT SERVICE OPERATORS FOR FUTURE OPERATIONS AGAINST BOKO HARAM AND IMPROVED READINESS BY OVER 50 PERCENT. AS NAVY INDIVIDUAL AUGUMENTEE COMBAT TRAINING (NIACT) ARMORY/ ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSIGNED TO EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT READINESS CENTER DETACHMENT, FORT JACKSON, SC FROM 13 JULY 2013 TO 15 SEPTEMBER 2014. PETTY OFFICER ACEVES' DILIGENCE AND METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL ALLOWED HIM TO FLAWLESSLY ISSUE AND TRACK OVER 1800 SMALL ARMS AND 25 HEAVY WEAPONS. HE ALSO HELPED WITH PROCESSING ORDERS AND WEAPONS FOR OVER 1400 HUNDRED SAILORS. HIS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION TO THE NIACT WEAPONS DEPARTMENT HAS CONTINUED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MAINTAINING ACCURATE ACCOUNTABILITY OF ALL ASSIGNED WEAPONS.
