HER TIRELESS EFFORTS LED TO THE HIGH PROFILE SUCCESS OF ALL SPECIAL OBSERVANCES AT NAVSUP HEADQUARTERS, WHERE SHE PLANNED AND COORDINATED THE GUEST SPEAKERS FOR EVENTS AND OVERSAW THE LOGISTICS FOR MORE THAN 500 MILITARY PERSONNEL AND CIVILIANS IN ATTENDANCE. ADDITIONALLY, SHE WAS A KEY FACTOR IN THE SUCCESS OF THE 2023 WOMENS HISTORY MONTH OBSERVANCE WHERE SHE PLANNED AND COORDINATED THE ARRIVAL OF DISTINGUISHED GUEST SPEAKERS, MASTER CHIEF PETTY OFFICER OF THE NAVY, AND COMMANDER U.S FLEET CYBERCOMMAND, AND OVERSAW THE LOGISTICS FOR OVER ONE HUNDRED SAILORS IN ATTENDANCE. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER NEUMAN'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM AND SELFLESS DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS DIVERSITY ACTION OFFICER AT NAVAL COMPUTER AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS AREA MASTER STATION ATLANTIC (NCTAMS-LANT) FROM JUNE 2015 TO AUGUST 2018. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER BROWN'S ACTIONS IN THIS KEY POSITION PROVIDED A LASTING FOUNDATION FOR THE NAVY'S DIVERSITY OBJECTIVES. HIS SUPERB MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS WHILE ONBOARD LED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE 2014-2016 TOWN HALL MEETING ATTENDED BY OVER 110 COMMANDS. LIEUTENANT SHAMEEKA WILKINSON CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HER DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HER DYNAMIC LEADERSHIP AND OPERATIONAL FLEET EXPERIENCE MADE HER THE IDEAL CHOICE TO REPRESENT NAVY RECRUITING COMMAND (NRC) AT HIGH LEVEL NAVY AND CIVILIAN DIVERSITY FORUMS AND NATIONAL CONFERENCES. NOTABLY, AT THE NATIONAL CONVENTION, SHE MANAGED THE $49,000 NATIONAL SOCIETY OF BLACK ENGINEERS AFFINITY GROUP PARTNERSHIP, CAPTURING 76 QUALITY DIVERSE LEADS. ADDITIONALLY, SHE WAS A KEY FACTOR IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PRAIRIE VIEW A&M NAVY VISIBILITY DAY THAT OFFERED AN EXCLUSIVE NAVY EXPERIENCE AT THE LOCAL LEVEL AND BOLSTERED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES/ MINORITY INSTITUTIONS (HBCU/MI) AND THE NAVY RECRUITING DISTRICT, YIELDING 139 Q&I LEADS AT A COST OF TWENTY DOLLARS PER LEAD. HER TIRELESS EFFORTS LED TO THE HIGH PROFILE SUCCESS OF THE 2015 FORT MEADE GARRISON AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY OBSERVANCE WHERE SHE PLANNED AND COORDINATED THE GUEST SPEAKER, DEPUTY JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL OF THE NAVY, AND OVERSAW THE LOGISTICS FOR 300 JOINT SERVICE PERSONNEL AND CIVILIANS IN ATTENDANCE.
