HER EXTRAORDINARY LEADERSHIP, INNOVATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING, AND PROGRAM EXPERTISE WERE CLEARLY EVIDENT IN THE RESOLUTION OF MULTIPLE CHALLENGES, FROM IMPROVING RECRUIT DIVISION COMMANDER MANNING FROM SHORTFALL TO SURPLUS TO REWORKING A DISQUALIFICATION PLACEMENT PROCESS THAT SAVED THE NAVY OVER $400,000 IN PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION COSTS DURING HER TOUR. CHIEF SAILOR'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNPRECEDENTED PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE IN THE SUSTAINED PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS MANPOWER ANALYST, TOTAL FORCE, BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY, WASHINGTON DC FROM FEBRUARY 2011 TO JULY 2014. LIEUTENANT XXXX DISTINGUISHED HIMSELF IN AN EXEMPLARY MANNER, DEMONSTRATING EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL WHILE LEADING MULTIPLE MANPOWER INITIATIVES. HE COMPLETED ANALYSES OF OVER 30,000 BILLETS TOTALING $5 BILLION FOR POM-14, JUSTIFYING NAVY MEDICINE'S TOTAL FORCE STRUCTURE. HE SPEARHEADED THE RESTORATION OF 456 MILITARY BILLETS IN POM-13 AS WELL AS REVIEWED AND ASSESSED 5,000 REQUIREMENTS AND 10,000 AUTHORIZATIONS FOR THE HEALTH SERVICES AUGMENTATION PROGRAM, ENHANCING NAVY OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY. BY HIS UNSWERVING DETERMINATION AND COMPLETE DEDICATION TO DUTY, LIEUTENANT JONES REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS MANPOWER ANALYST, NAVY MANPOWER ANALYSIS CENTER, MILLINGTON, TENNESSEE FROM APRIL 2015 TO MAY 2018. PETTY OFFICER SIMMONS EXPERTLY FACILITATED COORDINATION AND APPROVAL OF 360 NAVY ENLISTED CLASSIFICATION PROPOSALS, INCREASING NAVY'S ABILITY TO MATCH READY SAILORS WITH FLEET MISSION REQUIREMENTS. SHE RESTRUCTURED NSA'S MID-SOUTH WORKFORCE CLASSIFICATION DEPARTMENT TRAINING, RESULTING IN FASTER AND MORE RELEVANT QUALIFICATION OF SIX SENIOR PERSONNEL AND A 25 PERCENT INCREASE IN DEPARTMENT PRODUCTIVITY. SHE PROVIDED TIMELY AND ACCURATE TECHNICAL AND INFORMATION SUPPORT FOR FLAG LEVEL EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS, PRIMARY ADVISORS, TECHNICAL ADVISORS, COMMUNITY MANAGERS, AND TRAINING AND EDUCATION STAKEHOLDERS. ADDITIONALLY, HER DYNAMIC LEADERSHIP OF THE COMMAND PHYSICAL FITNESS PROGRAM FOR 107 MILITARY PERSONNEL PRODUCED AN IMPRESSIVE 95 PERCENT PASS RATE OVER THREE YEARS. BY HER NOTEWORTHY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, DECISIVE LEADERSHIP, AND DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER SIMMONS REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AS MANPOWER LEADING PETTY OFFICER, FLEET READINESS CENTER WEST, FROM APRIL 2013 TO MAY 2016. PETTY OFFICER OHANISAIN PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DEMONSTRATING EXCEPTIONAL ADMINSTRATIVE EXPERTISE, HE WAS HEAVILY RELIED UPON IN MANAGING THE INDUCTION AND TRANSITIONS OF MORE THAN 1500 SAILORS. HIS KEEN ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND DEDICATION IMPROVED AND STREAMLINED THE COMMAND INDOCTRINATION PROCESS, GIVING NEW PERSONNEL THE BEST CHANCE FOR CAREER SUCCESS. ADDITIONALLY, HIS LEADERSHIP SKILLS AS MWR ASSOCIATE WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN THE RAISING OF MORE THAN $30,000 FOR THE COMMAND MWR FUND. BY HIS EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER OHANISAIN REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
