SHE MADE INDISPENSABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SUCCESS OF THE DEPLOYMENT BY IDENTIFYING AND CORRECTING ERRORS AND IRREGULARITIES MADE BY OVER 1700 STAFF ACROSS THE WAVES TO INCLUDE PERSONNEL FROM NBHC JACKSONVILLE, NMRTU ALBANY, NBHC KINGS BAY, NBHC KEY WEST, AND NBHC MAYPORT TO INCLUDE FLEET COMPONENTS ON SEA ROTATION. STAFF SERGEANT TILLY'S INITIATIVE, PERSEVERANCE, AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE MARINE CORPS AND THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PREFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES AS UNIT LPO AND ACTING CHIEF FOR EMF DALLAS ONE, DET O FROM XXXXXXXX TO XXXXXXXX. PETTY OFFICER REYNOLDS VOLUNTEERED TO ASSUME THE POSITION OF UNIT TRAINING PETTY OFFICER, ASSISTING WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND COMPILATION OF HM TRAINING MATERIAL AND CLASSES WHICH RESULTED IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF 49% OF ELIGIBLE UNIT SAILORS IN 2015. HE ALSO IDENTIFIED AND OBTAINED TRAINING FOR CERTIFICATION IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT FOR UNIT EIGHT SAILORS AT NO COST TO THE NAVY, SAVING OVER $900. IN ADDITION, HM1 OVERSAW THE COORDINATION FOR AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THREE REGIONAL EXCERCISES FOR FOUR EMF DALLAS ONE DETACHMENTS AND TACTICAL COMBAT CASUALTY CARE CERTIFICATION TRAINING FOR 30 SAILORS. HN REYNOLDS' EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSINAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS TRAINING PETTY OFFICER, NAVAL HOSPITAL PENSACOLA, FROM XXXXXXXX TO XXXXXXXX. PETTY OFFICER BUTTERS SPEARHEADED THE RESUSCITATIVE MEDICINE PROGRAM AND FACILITATED TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION FOR OVER 500 HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS TO COMPLY WITH JOINT COMMISSION REQUIREMENTS. HE ALSO ESTABLISHED A WEEKEND ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS) PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDED TRAINING TO THE RESERVE OPERATION HEALTH SUPPORT UNIT WHICH SUPPORTS OVER 150 RESERVE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS. ADDITIONALLY, HE OVERSAW THE TRANSITION OF THE ACLS AND PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS) PROGRAMS IN ORDER FOR NAVAL HOSPITAL PENSACOLA TO CONTINUE BEING AFFILIATED WITH THE MILITARY TRAINING NETWORK. FURTHER, HE IDENTIFIED AND PROCURED NECESSARY TRAINING MATERIAL TO ENSURE COMMAND TRAINING EFFICIENCY FOR 13 PROGRAMS WITHIN THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING DEPARTMENT. BY HIS UNSWERVING DETERMINATION, WISE JUDGEMENT, AND COMPLETE DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER BUTTERS REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




MERITORIOUS SERVICE IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS LEADING PETTY OFFICER AND INSTRUCTOR, DENTAL LABORATORY PROGRAM, NAVAL MEDICAL TRAINING CENTER, FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS FROM JUNE 2013 TO AUGUST 2016. PETTY OFFICER TARANTINO DEMONSTRATED EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT ABILITY BY LEADING A TEAM OF 6 PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS IN THE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF 388 STUDENTS AND 5,000 HOURS OF DIDACTIC AND PRACTICAL TRAINING, CULMINATING IN A 98 PERCENT GRADUATION RATE. AS A MASTER TRAINING SPECIALIST MENTOR, HM1 TARANTINO FACILITATED THE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AT NAVY MEDICINE TRAINING SUPPORT CENTER AND LED SIX INSTRUCTORS THROUGH THE DEMANDING CERTIFICATION PROCESS TO IMPROVE NAVY READINESS THROUGH QUALITY INSTRUCTION. IN ADDITION, HM1 TARANTINO SUBMITTED $40,000 WORTH OF MAJOR WORK ORDERS AND 160 WORK REQUESTS TO IMPROVE SAFETY AND USABILITY OF THE DENTAL LABORATORY SPACES WITH NO LOSS TO PLAN OF INSTRUCTION TIME. PETTY OFFICER TARANTION'S INITIATIVE, PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
