MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS ASSISTANT SENIOR NURSE EXECUTIVE, OPERATIONAL HEALTH SUPPORT UNIT BREMERTON, WASHINGTON FROM 11 JUNE 2016 TO 23 AUGUST 2020. DURING THIS PERIOD, COMMANDER JULIE A. DEFRANCO'S LEADERSHIP IN THE PROVISION OF NURSING SUPPORT SERVICES TO 2,785 RESERVE COMPONENT PERSONNEL RESULTED IN A SUSTAINED OPERATIONAL READINESS OF 96 PERCENT, A ONE HUNDRED PERCENT COMPLETION RATE FOR ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT AND TRAUMA NURSE CORPS TRAINING, AND A 90 PERCENT COMPLETION RATE FOR HOSPITAL CORPSMAN SKILLS BASIC. ADDITIONALLY, SHE COMPLETED 55 PHYSICAL HEALTH ASSESSMENTS WHICH RESULTED IN A COST AVOIDANCE OF 5,756 DOLLARS AND DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTED TO A MEDICAL READINESS RATE OF 85 PERCENT. AS CLINIC NURSE MANAGER, LIEUTENANT HARRISON GILES EXPERTLY MANAGED THE SURGICAL SERVICE LINE, COORDINATED OVER EIGHT THOUSAND OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTERS FOR SEVEN SURGEONS AND PROVIDED OVERSIGHT OF 456 SURGICAL CASES THAT GENERATED OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN SURGICAL CARE. AS CLINIC NURSE MANAGER, LIEUTENANT ELIZABETH WARD EXPERTLY MANAGED THE OUTPATIENT SERVICE LINE, COORDINATED 12,200 OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTERS FOR SIX PROVIDERS AND PROVIDED OVERSIGHT OF 177 SURGICAL CASES THAT GENERATED OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN SURGICAL CARE. IN ADDITION, AS SEXUAL ASSAULT MEDICAL FORENSIC EXAMINER (SAMFE), SHE SUPERVISED THE EFFORTS OF 13 SAMFE PROVIDERS AND 40 ASSISTANTS, ENSURING CONTINUOUS ACCESS TO CRITICAL SEXUAL ASSAULT MEDICAL FORENSIC EXAMS FOR OVER 25,000 BENEFICIARIES.
