MASTER CHIEF ACEVES CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE DISTINGUISHED HIMSELF AS A HIGHLY RESPECTED AND EFFECTIVE SECURITY OFFICER THROUGH HIS KEEN UNDERSTANDING OF NAVY FORCE PROTECTION PROGRAMS AND U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE REQUIREMENTS. HIS LIAISON RELATIONSHIP WITH THE REGIONAL SECURITY OFFICE (RSO), U.S. EMBASSY CAIRO WAS SUPERB, REVITALIZING AND ESTABLISHING COMMUNICATION ACROSS A BROAD SPECTRUM OF SECURITY COMMUNITIES. ADDITIONALLY, HE PROACTIVELY ENGAGED AND TRAINED THE LOCAL GUARD SECURITY FORCES IN WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION AND INTERNAL DEFENSE RESPONSES, WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY DEVELOPING PLANNING AND TRAINING DOCTRINE WHICH WAS LATER ADOPTED BY THE RSO AND HOST NATION GUARD FORCES. MOREOVER, HE INITIATED AND IMPLEMENTED A SUSTAINABLE COMMAND TRAINING PROGRAM, RAISING GMT, CPO365, AND CDB COMPLIANCE FROM A LOW OF 10 PERCENT TO AN UNPRECEDENTED 100 PERCENT. FINALLY, AS A MENTOR, MASTER CHIEF ACEVES WAS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIRST SOQ/Y PROGRAM AT ANY NAMRU.
