Navigation expert for Integrated Battle Problem San Clemente (IBP.23) and (1BP.24), responsible for the procurement, assessment and revision of 12 charts for the San Clemente AOR while simultaneously ensuring 4 patrol boats were outfitted for 14+ days of Joint Operations.
Weapons Range Coordinator, planning and executing 2 Crew Served Weapons and Small Arms weapons ranges, qualifying 30 HQ and HVU Sailors for sustained operations. Responsible for pre-operational and post-operational maintenance for all weapons coordinating with Command weapons department for 100% accountability.

Despite an increased workload, an undermanned division, and a hectic ship's schedule, Petty Officer Exley met the challenge as demonstrated by Deck Department's overall grade. BOATSWAIN'S MATE; BM3 SOQ WRITE UP
BM3 HARD is an ultimate go-to Sailor in SURFACE DIVISION ELEVEN. During his time as Seamanship Training Team Member, he led 10 crews consisting of over 500 sailors in Deck Seamanship training and certifying evolutions. Without hesitation he has taken on several new roles within the department and the command. Taking on the responsibility of Command Color Guard Coordinator, Petty Officer Hard professionally led his team in Honors and Ceremonies, a responsibility normally reserved for a seasoned Second Class Petty Officer. As the only Petty Officer Third Class instructor at Surface Division Eleven, he instructed four Littoral Combat Ship Academy classes consisting of over 100 Sailors. He exhibits the superior leadership and management skills found only in today s top Sailors. His systematic approach to the unique challenges of the Littoral Combat Ship program makes him an instrumental and sought-after technical expert. He absolutely deserves Surface Division Eleven Junior Sailor of the Quarter.
