THE ONLY LCS CHIEF QUALIFIED AS TACTICAL ACTION OFFICER, HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL TO THE SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT OF THE LCSRON CONSOLIDATED BATTLE ORDERS COURSE WHICH IS VITAL TO THE TRAINING OF ALL FUTURE INDEPENDENCE CLASS TACTICAL ACTION OFFICERS. HIS MANAGERIAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

IN ADDITION, HE COORDINATED AND DROVE PREPARATIONS, SHIP-WIDE, FOR MULTIPLE SUCCESSFUL ASSESSMENTS THROUGHOUT THE KEARSARGE DEPLOYMENT, SHIPYARD PERIOD, AND BASIC PHASE. HIS MENTORSHIP AND LEADERSHIP WAS CRUCIAL TO MEDICAL DEPARTMENT PRODUCING 25 DUAL WARFARE QUALIFIED SAILORS, 21 ADVANCEMENTS, 4 SOQ AND 1 BJOY WINNERS, A 97 PERCENT PFA PASS RATE, A SCORE OF 98 PERCENT IN THE HEALTH SERVICES READINESS INSPECTION, AND THREE BLUE M AND BLUE H AWARDS FOR MEDICAL AND HEALTH PROMOTIONS, CONTRIBUTING TO THE COMMAND WINNING THE 2014 AND 2016 BATTLE E. AS THE COMMAND'S ESWS COORDINATOR, ORGANIZED A WEEKLY 8-HOUR CLASS WHICH LED TO 200 QUALIFICATIONS ENABLING THE COMMAND TO FLY THE ESWS PENANT IN A YARD PERIOD.
