PETTY OFFICER CORRINE DEMONSTRATED SUPERB LEADERSHIP AND MANAGERIAL SKILLS AS HE LED HIS TEAM OF THREE TECHNICIANS IN THE TRAINING, TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE OF A 1.5 MILLION DOLLAR C4ISR GEAR SET. HIS HARD WORK AND CAN-DO ATTITUDE LED TO THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 18 EMERGENT CASUALTIES RESULTING IN A 97% UP TIME OF THE SHF, NIPR/SIPR SUITES, CENTRIX AND TACMASS SYSTEMS, SAVING THE NAVY $500K IN COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATION COSTS. AS THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ALL TACTICAL MOBILE OPERATIONS IN THE SEVENTH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY, SHE STRATEGICALLY LED TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER KADENA AND THREE DETACHED MOBILE TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTERS IN PROVIDING THE COMPREHENSIVE MISSION SUPPORT AND COMMAND AND CONTROL REQUIRED BY FOUR FORWARD DEPLOYED MARITIME PATROL AND RECONNAISSANCE FORCE TASK GROUPS. A THEATER EXPERT, SHE DEPLOYED AS A TASK GROUP WATCH OFFICER IN SUPPORT OF 19 MULTI-LATERAL OPERATIONS AND EXERCISES, STRENGTHENING TIES AND ENHANCING THEATER SECURITY COOPERATION EFFORTS WITH KEY INDO-ASIA-PACIFIC PARTNERS. BY HER DILIGENT OVERSIGHT, MATURE JUDGMENT, AND COMPLETE DEDICATION TO DUTY, CHIEF ELLIS REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

PETTY OFFICER CRAGO DEMONSTRATED EXCEPTIONAL TEAMWORK, RESOURCEFULNESS, AND TENACITY WHILE MAKING MISSION CRITICAL RESTORATION TO C4I AND SHF SYSTEMS. SHE IDENTIFIED MULTIPLE DEFICIENCIES, DETERMINED CORRECTIVE MEASURES, AND OBTAINED VITAL RESOURCES TO COMPLETE REPAIRS. HER EFFORTS SUPPORTED MORE THAN 200 HOURS OF COLLABORATIVE TROUBLESHOOTING WITH OUTSIDE AGENCIES. THESE EFFORTS RESTORED CRITICAL SERVICES, PROVIDED MTOC-11 WATCHSTANDERS WITH KEY C4I SUITE SYSTEM CAPABILITIES AND FACILITATED IMPROVED MISSION READINESS. PETTY OFFICER CRAGO'S INITIATIVE AND DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
