As an immunization administrator, he successfully administered hundreds of thousands of vaccines to active-duty personnel and their dependents, ensuring that service members remain deployable and their families are safe and able to attend school. He also played a crucial role in training new staff on vaccine preparation and scheduling, reinforcing high operational standards.
As Leading Petty Officer of the Immunizations Department, he oversaw the administration of more than 21,058 vaccines to Active Duty, Civilian employees, and Dependent beneficiaries.
He established the 3d MAW immunization program which brought the program from a freeze to a full go in less than a month. As the subject matter expert on immunizations, he took charge of the 3D MAW Immunizations Program through implemented required training, a standard operating procedure handbook, and personal qualification standards checklist. Items ensured that 3D MAW were on track with current vaccination standards set forth by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) while aligned with Navy's homeport model and Naval Medical Center San Diego's immunization program.
As the Immunization coordinator, he created the 3D MAW immunization program by establishing the Standard Operating Procedures and training requirements and instructed all Hospital Corpsmen on proper vaccine procedures and protocol which lead to 98% influenza vaccination rate by the CG's December Deadline and 94.8% COVID vaccination rate onboard MCAS Miramar.
Coordinated the 24 MEU/CLB 24 immunization post-deployment shotex for 300 Marines and Sailors, increasing medical readiness by 20%. Directly responsible for the ordering of $35,000 worth of vaccinations, vaccine storage and handling, vaccine documentation, Medical Readiness Report System (MRRS) and AHLTA inputs for 100% accountability.
As a Hospital Corpsman for Immunizations, she completed over 3000 patient encounters for staff and their beneficiaries; devoted 24 off-duty hours to increase the deployment readiness of 260 sailors slated to deploy with the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) and participated in 15 mobile immunization shot Ex's for 20 outlaying commands and deployable units.
SNS conducted over 90 medical coverages totaling over 2000 hours for the training of over 3000 US, ROK, Japanese and Philippine Marines. As Immunizations Petty Officer, supervised and participated in the innoculation of over 3000 Marines with 400,000 dollars worth of vaccines. Ran the 2016 Influenza campaign for Camp Schwab innoculating 1117 members in 3 days and raising influenza readiness of on-hand Marines and Sailors to 98%.
His service as the Immunization Petty Officer led to an average of 92% medical readiness. His dedication to keeping his unit mission ready allowed him to lead in the Camp Schwab Influenza pandemic exercise where he supervised and coordinated the vaccination of over 1100 service members, reaching a camp readiness of 90% in less than 72 hours.
Her efforts as the Work Center Supervisor for Immunizations were instrumental in the vaccination of over 4,000 Marines and Sailors across 23 units and the deployability of four units. She spearheaded the vaccination and documentation during influenza season for 1st Medical Battalion for 2016, leading to the unit maintaining the highest medically ready percentage across 1st Marine Logistics Group. She also assisted with medical readiness and maintained readiness above 90 percent for all units during her tenure, as well as zero discrepancies within the Immunizations program for the Commanding General's Inspection Program and Joint Commission.
