SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT. Lieutenant Nightingale achieved national certification as a Certified Perioperative Nurse and demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient safety and adhered to all standards in both civilian and Navy perioperative fields of practice.
MEDICAL DILIGENCE. Maintained medical and dental readiness rate of an unprecedented 95 percent of members and Annual Training completion rate of 90 percent with less than six months left in FY 2022.
COMMUNITY MENTOR. Was assigned as assistant recorder and reviewed and validated 124 records for Promotion Selection Board and APPLY Board with fairness and professionalism, facilitating the successful careers of applicants. Provided career counseling to two officers and two enlisted members and Virtual Detachment mentorship resulting in 16 enlisted selections for advancement during this period.

ADMINISTRATIVE JUGGERNAUT. Lieutenant Smith utilized her organizational talents to assist 13 nurses and three providers across two departments in the critical care of 5,300 patients, 700 intravenous therapies, and 13 urology procedures, and ensured 100% accuracy in the completion of more than 500 perioperative assestments. As the Urology and same day surgery DMHRSI time keeper, she diligently assisted a total of 48 active duty members in the submission of their time cards, resulting in 100% compliance.
