HM3 MORELANDS'S COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE OVERSEAS AND OPERATIONAL SCREENING DEPARTMENT AT NAVAL BRANCH HEALTH CLINIC CORRY FACILITATED THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 656 PHYSICAL EXAMS, ENHANCING NAVAL READINESS FOR MISSIONS SPANNING THE GLOBE.




As an Aerospace Medical Technician serving multiple squadrons in 2D Marine Air Wing, she conducted and administered more than 500 physical exams, 334 audiograms, and 1300 vaccinations to maintain the medical readiness of over 900 active duty Marines.




AS COMMAND PHYSICAL EXAMS COORDINATOR AND SEA DUTY SCREENER, HE PROCESSED 1,123 SUITABILITY AND OVERSEAS SCREENINGS AS WELL AS 333 PHYSICALS FOR PERSONNEL ASSIGNED TO 12 TENANT COMMANDS. HE ARRANGED AND COORDINATED 11 CLASSES FOR 37 CORPSMEN, RESULTING IN ENHANCED OPERATIONAL READINESS.




Committed to a operational readiness as Physical Exams Readiness Screening Leading Petty Officer, she developed, managed, and ensured the completion of over 14,400 screenings, ensuring worldwide assignability. Dedicated to process improvement, she developed a web-based initiative that decreased screening times for service members and their dependants and improved screening process accuracy which improved access to care and PCM continuity.




His execution of Preventive Health Assessments and Physical Exams, requiring over 400 immunizations and 200 Physical Health Assessments earned Rushmore its second consecutive Green "H" unit award.

Petty Officer Herrman contributed significantly to the overall medical readiness of Carrier Air Wing One by consistently maintaining squadron medical and dental readiness at over 95 percent. He also assisted with the administration of over 2,000 smallpox, anthrax, and yellow fever vaccinations and 1,100 PHA, flight deck, annual flight, and specialty physical exams resulting in the Air Wing's unprecedented 98% full medical ready status.




Assistant Leading Petty Officer and Physical Exams Petty Officer for 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, HM2 Nunez was a vital asset in the processing of 46 data transactions, 6 reenlistments, 6 promotions, and 6 Perform-to-Serve requests with 100% acceptance rate for 22 Sailors; coordinated and assisted in performing 200 PHA's, 130 separation physicals, and 120 audiograms, sustaining the battalion's ability to deploy.
