During this period, YN1 Igor provided SSO support to the Dayton RDS by rapidly generating indoctrination requests and permanent certification letters for six Sailors. He coordinated with the Office of Personnel Management as well as National Air and Space Intelligence Center personnel security staff to ensure all security clearance issues were resolved before the drill weekend. His foresight, quick action and attention to detail increased the operations output of Dayton RDS by 25% and expanded the unit's Digital Network Intelligence Analysis, Electronic Intelligence Analysis, and Linguistic Analysis capabilities exponentially.




Petty Officer Baxter maintained the Joint Personnel Adjudication System and the Personnel Security Management Network for the Joint Task Force Intelligence Directorate. He maintained the Sensitive Compartmented Information database and ensured an accurate accounting of the clearance status of 433 personnel. He processed 300 Task Force Platinum access badges, 1200 Joint Task Force badges, 100 Commissions badges, and 340 Courier Cards. Petty Officer Baxter's performance as the Assistant Special Security Officer was vital to the uninterrupted continuation of the Joint Task Force’s mission. Additionally, Petty Officer Baxter was called upon to assist the Strategic Fusion Cell during a surge effort. While there he ensured accurate indentifying features of current and past detainees were made available to the Intelligence Community by uploading over 180 fingerprint sets into the Joint Detainee Information Management System. He tediously reviewed Summary Interrogation Reports, identifying over 200 new associations of current detainees. Petty Officer Baxter also created an information packet for a transferred detainee which was utilized by law enforcement agencies to indentify persons of interest.




Managed more then 330 personnel as Assistant Special Security Officer. Provided in-depth instruction to 100% of the crew on physical and operational security ensuring zero discrepancies with respect to classified material. Expertly ensured all OT personnel were qualified and safely handled more then 200 chaff rounds for off-load and on-load. As a member of the Anti-Terrorism Training Team, helped train and demonstrate the effectiveness of watchstanders throughout the command.




Demonstrating outstanding initiative, Petty Officer Polaski provided valuable insight at critical junctures to the Admiral and staff of Naval Special Warfare Command enabling informed decision making at the highest level. He filled a critical gap and excelled while performing duties as the N2 assistant Special Security Officer. He revised the Force Special Security Office website and conducted ground breaking analysis of security related incidents resulting in a lasting positive impact on the Force's management of clearances and increased Naval Special Warfare's mission effectiveness by 30 percent.




As the Assistant Special Security Officer, he assisted in managing and reaccrediting three controlled areas, keeping the command in compliance with ICD 705.




Petty Officer Nellis executed her duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner, providing over 100 intelligence products to Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific, and ensuring an up-to-date and accurate geopolitical and operational intelligence picture of regional countries was provided to the necessary decision makers in the command. Displaying focus, resourcefulness and ingenuity, she dilligently served as the assistant Special Security Officer, responsible for the maintenance, upgrading, and screening of over two hundred security clearances, a role essential to the ongoing fight for national security.




Playing a pivotal role in the information flow across multiple networks, GySgt Mittens maintained communications and coordinated the required architecture for required intelligence processes. As a leader and mentor of Marines, GySgt Mittens also established an entry training plan for new 2651 MOS Marines to the command. As the Assistant Special Security Officer for MFR, he maintained over 1700 SCI clearances for personnel.




As assistant special security officer, she managed 27 sensitive compartmented information and 288 genser level personnel records.




Assistant Special Security Officer for Joint Reserve Intelligence Center Fort Worth, Texas. Petty Officer Sasquatch provided exceptional adminstrative and personnel security support to over 1,000 military, U.S. government and contractor personnel.




MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS SPECIAL SECURITY OFFICER (SSO) FOR COMMAND NAVAL AIR FORCE ATLANTIC FROM AUGUST 2020 TO SEPTEMBER 2022. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER FRANKENSTEIN PERFORMED HER DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DESPITE BEING THE MOST JUNIOR ENLISTED SAILOR, SHE ASSUMED THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SSO AFTER A TWO YEAR GAPPED GS-13 BILLET. SHE MANAGED OVER TWO HUNDRED JOINT PERSONNEL ADJUDICATION SYSTEM VISIT REQUESTS, 20 PRE-INSPECTIONS, AND PASSED A NAVY-WIDE INSPECTION FOR CNAL. IN ADDITION, SHE PROVIDED CRITICAL INPUT AND PERSPECTIVE IN DEVELOPING COMPETENCIES AND POSITION DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE PENDING SSO/SAPCO POSITION. FINALLY, SHE DELIVERED EFFICIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRAINING FOR A STAFF OF 630 PERSONNEL AND PROCESSED 11 FOREIGN EXCEPTION PACKAGES, 400 SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION INDOCTRINATION AND DEBRIEFS, AND REDUCED CNAL BACKLOG BY 75 PERCENT IN JUST SIX MONTHS. PETTY OFFICER FRANKENSTEIN'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM AND SELFLESS DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
