Urology Technician Evals


DELIVERS HEALTHCARE. As work center supervisor, led 7 Sailors and 7 civilians to support 22 staff TO complete 2,640 minor procedures and 345 surgical cases for urology in support of 12k beneficiaries.

EFFICIENT MANAGER. Managed an OPTAR of 2M that included 450 consumables, 60 instruments, 69 pieces of equipment to sustain surgical readiness for Vascular surgery.

DEVELOPS PEERS. Lead surgical tech for Work center supervisor for Bioskills simulation center, led 4 Sailors and 6 civilians in 234 cadaver labs and 9 simulation training labs across Navy Region Southwest that resulted in 53 life saving cadaver labs and re-certified 496 advanced medical providers that led to 100% qualification rate.




EXCELLENT PERFORMER: Assisted with 102 vasectomies, 58 cystoscopies, 24 circumcisions, and 15 lesion removals. Performed 95 vasectomy class teachings, 35 fill/pull/void, 32 uroflows, 28 catheter changes, 13 BCG instillations, 10 dressing changes, 8 stent pulls, and 8 PTNS sessions.

VERSATILE: Responsible for managing the first specialty telehealth clinic between treatment facilities in Virginia and North Carolina. Orchestrated the set-up of 8 telehealth visits and 42 clinic visits for the pediatric Urologist, along with 8 VCUG procedures with the Radiology department for post-op patients. Booked 144 urology patients with pre-op and surgery appointments, utilizing 288 hours of OR time.

SUPERIOR MANAGER: Ensured 100% accountability for $88,186.22 worth of Urology equipment that was previously deemed "missing." Additionally, she orchestrated the relocation of equipment that had not been transferred properly from the general surgery clinic, totaling $40,601.64.




ANCOIC of Urology Services, demonstrated outstanding initiative and impeccable attention to detail in the supervision and mentoring of 21 personnel. Her exceptional enthusiasm and devotion to personnel growth and training increased overall military readiness for the Urology Department resulting in 5 promotions, two ARCOMs, and two JSAMs.




Hospital Corpsman in the Urology Clinic, assisted two Urologists with 60 surgical procedures and 125 clinical procedures and assisted 4K beneficiaries with scheduling urology appointments. Worked over 60 hours on the COVID 19 Shotex; administered 123 vaccinations and assisted with 800 patient encounters.




General duty corpsman, Urology Department, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command. Assisted two urologists in the completion of 2,678 patient encounters, 789 clinical procedures and 13 surgeries with zero surgical site infections. Led the operation Black Wind decon exercise and ensured the successful decontamination of 17 patients.
