FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS GENERAL DUTY CORPSMAN AND SUPPLY PERTTY OFFICER , NAVAL MEDICAL READINESS TRAINING UNIT, FROM AUGUST 2019 TO JULY 2022. HOSPITALMAN THIRD CLASS ACEVES DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE TIME CRITICAL REOPENING OF THE MOTHER INFANT CARE CLINC BY THE SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNTABILITY OF OVER TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF INVENTORY AND ORGANIZATIONAL EQUIPMENT. DURING HIS TENURE, HE CONDUCTED FIVE BULKHEAD TO BULKHEAD INVENTORIES OF CLINIC PROPERTY, CONDUCTED TWO ANNUAL INVENTORIES AND RECONCILIATIONS TO ENSURE THE STANDARDS OF THE MOTHER INFANT CARE CLINIC WERE MET. AS A GENERAL DUTY CORPSMAN, HE PERFORMED PATIENT CARE FOR 10,000 ACTIVE DUTY MEMBERS AND BENEFICIARIES BESIDE TWO FAMILY PRACTICE PROVIDERS, ONE INTERNAL MEDICINE PROVIER, TWO PEDIATRIC PROVIDERS, AND ONE OBGYN PROVIDER. AS THE MEDICAL HOMEPORT WORK SUPERVISOR, HE SUPERVISED DAILY OPERATIONS WITHIN THE FAMILY MEDICINE MEDICAL HOME PORT CLINIC AND ENSURED DELIVERY OF QUALITY CARE TO MORE THAN 1,000 BENEFICIARIES. ADDITIONALLY, HE ENSURED SEAMLESS CLINICAL OPERATIONS FOR SIX PROVIDERS AND THREE NURSES BY ASSISTING THE CLINIC MANAGER WITH THE DAILY SCHEDULING, END OF DAY COORDINATION, AND WORKFLOW OPTIMIZATION. MOREOVER, HE ASSUMED ALL ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES, MANNING, AND SCHEDULING AND WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSIGHT AND COMPLETION OF REQUIRED TRAINING, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, AND MANAGEMENT. UNDER HIS SUPERVISION, MHP PROVIDED CARE TO 13,000 ACTIVE DUTY AND OTHER BENEFICIARIES WITH A 90 PERCENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RATE. BY HIS UNSWERVING DETERMINATION, WISE JUDGEMENT, AND COMPLETE DEDICATION TO DUTY, HOSPITALMAN ACEVES REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
For outstanding performance of her duties while serving as Assistant Leading Petty Officer, Mother-Infant Care Center (MICC), U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Okinawa, Japan from December 2018 to December 2020. Petty Officer Davis consistently performed his duties in an exemplary manner. Specific accomplishments include:
Department Assistant Leading Petty Officer. Led 23 enlisted personnel in support of 26 nurses in triage, labor, delivery, and function of 14 postpartum beds, three triage rooms, and two operating room suites resulting in the delivery of world class care to 2,160 mothers and newborns.
His direct leadership resulted in three advancements, 19 personal awards, successful orientation of six Corpsmen and 15 clinical competencies, three United States Military Apprenticeship Program(USMAP) Nurse Assistant Certifications, three Hospital Corpsman Personnel Qualification Standard completions, two phlebotomy certifications, and two off-duty education enrollments.
Department Supply Representative. He managed a supply budget of $22,000 while maintaining appropriate stock levels by carefully reviewing anticipated usage rates and perceived shortages. He identified and addressed replenishment shortfalls in the "Kanban" system that eliminated spoilage and waste of consumable supplies, resulting in a positive impact on the Command s fiscal efforts.
