IN ADDITION, SHE CREATED 39 COMMAND SUPER USERS, INCREASING THE COMMAND'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND READINESS TO NINETY PERCENT ACROSS ALL PATIENT CARE AREAS. FURTHER, AS THE NURSE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE PHARMACY AND THERAPEUTICS COMMITTEE, SHE LED A PROJECT GROUP IN 120 HOURS OF RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, AND DISCUSSION ON REQUIRED EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT PREVIOUSLY NOT STOCKED, EXPANDING EMERGENCY CAPABILITIES AND DECREASING RESPONSE TIME BY THIRTY PERCENT. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER COATES PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE RESPONDED TO SIX CODE BLUE EMERGENCIES AND ASSISTED IN THE RESUSCITATION AND TRANSFER OF PATIENTS TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF CARE, SAVING THE LIVES OF FIVE PATIENTS. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER MULLER PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HOSPITALMAN MULLER CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION OF $749,000 WORTH OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT WHICH RESULTED IN NO PATIENT FLOW INTERRUPTIONS FOR SURGICAL PATIENT PROCEDURES. HOSPITAL CORPSMAN SECOND CLASS ALICE JOHNSON MANAGED ALL EQUIPMENT FOR AMBULATORY PROCEDURES UNIT, POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT, AND PRE-OP OFFICE VALUED AT OVER 900,000 DOLLARS. IN ADDITION, SHE MAINTAINED ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ACCOUNTABILITY OF ALL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TRANSFERED BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS, SAVING THE COMMAND IN EXCESS OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. FURTHER, PETTY OFFICER JOHNSON PARTICIPATED IN 32 COMMAND CEREMONIES FOR NAVAL HOSPITAL JACKSONVILLE COLOR GUARD TO INCLUDE RETIREMENTS, MORNING COLORS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER WAYNE HAUSMAN PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE EXPERTLY SUPERVISED FOUR CORPSMEN AND TWO CIVILIAN PERSONNEL IN THE SUCCESSFUL PREOPERATIVE AND POSTOPERATIVE CARE OF 3,500 PATIENTS. IN ADDITION, AS TEAM LEADER OF THE COMMAND HONOR GUARD, HE LED AND PARTICIPATED IN 106 FUNERALS AND 36 CEREMONIES. MOREOVER, AS A STAPLE IN THE COMMUNITY AND THE COMMAND, HE DEDICATED 225 HOURS TO THE MENTORSHIP OF 700 LOCAL STUDENTS AND SERVED AS PRESIDENT OF THE SINGLE SAILOR AND MARINE PROGRAM. DURING THIS PERIOD, HOSPITALMAN DARIEL POLANCO PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL PATIENT CARE TO OVER 2,000 ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS. IN ADDITION, HE COMPLETED AN EKG COURSE AND DEDICATED OVER 40 HOURS OF OFF DUTY TIME TO THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WHERE HE LEARNED TRIAGE, SUTURE REMOVAL, INCISION AND DRAINAGE, SPLINTING, IV THERAPY, AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES DURING CODE SITUATIONS. MOREOVER, AS SUPPLY OFFICER, HE MANAGED A CLINIC BUDGET OF 23,000 DOLLARS FOR SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT AND ENSURED ACCURACY AND PRECISION IN ORDERS AND REPLENISHMENT, PREVENTING ANY DELAYS IN PATIENT CARE. FURTHER, AS SAFETY OFFICER, HE ENSURED REGULATORY COMPLIANCE BY CONDUCTING REGULAR WORKPLACE INSPECTIONS, FIRE DRILL PLANNING AND TRAINING, AND MONTHLY SAFETY BRIEFS.
