Professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while deployed to Isa, Bahrain in support of the PAT V project from 13 Aug 2023 to 31 Oct 2023. During this period, BU3 performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. He assumed the duties of Fire Safety Petty Officer, Hazardous Material Petty Officer, Fuel Petty Officer, and Dispatcher for all construction equipment (CESE) at the PAT V road project. As Fire Safety and Hazardous Material Petty Officer, he ensured all personnel followed and complied with specifications for Fire Safety and for the storage and disposal of all hazardous materials and waste, ensuring the safety of 11 Seabees at the project site and resulting in zero injuries or landfill violations. As the Fuel Petty Officer and CESE dispatcher, BU3 scheduled and orchestrated the fueling for each CESE and conducted daily maintenance checks for 10 construction equipment on the project site, ensuring continuous availability. Additionally, he enrolled in the CESE training programs and completed 96 hours of CESE training and obtained licenses for Compact Track Loader, MK28, MK28-C, and FEL(924) equipment. His efforts improved the availability of manpower for operation of grading and moving earth, leveling the road to ideal elevation needed for constructing a 510 ft concrete road.
