HE MAINTAINED CLINIC READINESS, SCHEDULES, APPOINTMENTS, PERFORMED PATIENT ADMISSION AND DISCHARGES, ASSISTED WITH COLONOSCOPY AND ENDOSCOPY PROCEDURES, AS WELL AS MAINTAINING THE STERILITY OF MORE THAN $400,000 WORTH OF EQUIPMENT. IN ADDITION TO HIS CLINICAL DUTIES HE ALSO HELPED WITH THE SAFE TRANSPORTATION OF OUR NATION'S WOUNDED WARRIORS AND ENSURED THE SAFE ARRIVAL OF MORE THAN 100 SOLDIERS, SAILORS, MARINES, AND AIRMEN. HOSPITALMAN SAILOR'S PROFESSIONALISM AND DEVOTION TO SERVICE REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS GENERAL DUTY CORPSMAN FLEET SURGICAL TEAM SEVEN FROM 12 APRIL 2015 TO 13 AUGUST 2017. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER AHAB PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HANDSELECTED TO SERVE AS USS BONHOMME RICHARD SICK CALL COORDINATOR, HE SUPERVISED 28 HOSPITAL CORPSMEN WHILE ORGANIZING THE SCHEDULES OF 10 HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, ENSURING THE TIMELY DELIVERY OF CARE TO OVER 3500 NAVY AND MARINE CORPS PERSONNEL. DURING OPERATIONS TALISMAN SABRE AND SSANG YONG, HE METICULOUSLY MANAGED TWO GASTROENTERITIS OUTBREAKS AFFECTING MORE THAN 600 PATIENTS, WHILE SINGLE HANDEDLY GENERATING REAL TIME DATA ANALYSIS FOR DISSEMINATION TO THE CHAIN OF COMMAND. BY HIS SELFLESS ATTITUDE, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND ABSOLUTE DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER AHAB REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS DEPARTMENT QUALITY INITIATIVE COORDINATOR FOR U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL ROTA, SPAIN FROM AUGUST 2011 TO SEPTEMBER 2014. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER SEYMORE PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE METICULOUSLY ENTERED OVER 6,000 POST PROCEDURE DATA ENTRIES, IMPROVING METRICS BY 50 PERCENT AND DIRECTLY INCREASING TRAINING READINESS FROM 85% TO 93%. ADDITIONALLY, HE OVERSAW THE REVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT TRAINING SCHEDULE, REDUCING CORPSMAN ADVANCED GASTROENEROLOGY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATION TIME BY ONE MONTH WHILE MAINTAINING THE STANDARD OF CARE. FINALLY, AS A COMMAND FLU TEAM MEMBER, PROVIDED OVER 10,500 INFLUENZA VACCINATIONS RESULTING IN A COMMAND READINESS SCORE OF 91%. PETTY OFFICER SEYMORE'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
