FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS HELP DESK SUPERVISOR WHILE ON BOARD THE USS JOHN C. STENNIS FROM 11 JUNE 2019 TO 20 MARCH 2020. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER CARLITO LED 37 SAILORS AS A HELP DESK SUPERVISOR IN THE SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF OVER 1600 TROUBLE CALLS WHILE PROVIDING EXEMPLARY SUPPORT FOR A TOTAL OF 3374 USERS. ADDITIONALLY, IT2 CARLITO COORDINATED AND CONDUCTED THE FIRST IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTEGRATED BARCODE SYSTEM FOR A NAVY CARRIER IN RCOH STATUS, SAVING SUPPLY DEPARTMENT 12,000 MAN HOURS VIA SCANNING CAPABILITY AND PROVIDED THE NEXT THREE CARRIERS WITH INTEGRATED BROADCAST SYSTEM (IBS) SERVICES. FINALLY, IT2 EVALUATED 13 VERSIONS OF THE CONTINUOUS MONITORING PROGRAM (CMP) UNIVERSAL DATA EXTRACTOR (UDE) AFTER NTCSS SYSTEM DAP06 MADE THE CMP APPLICATION INOPERABLE FOR THE FLEET, RESTORING THE CMP TO FULLY OPERATIONAL STATUS. PETTY OFFICER CARLITO'S MANAGERIAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS THE C4I AND TACTICAL NETWORKS (TACNET) HELP DESK LEAD FROM OCTOBER 2018 TO OCTOBER 2019. PETTY OFFICER COX LED SEVEN CIVILIANS IN THE RESOLUTION OF 7,200 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICE MANAGEMENT (ITSM) TROUBLE TICKETS, AND 645 CATEGORY 2, 3, AND 4 CASUALTY REPORTS ACROSS EIGHT SEPARATE TACTICAL SYSTEMS. IN ADDITION, HE IMAGED OVER 350 B300 RUGGEDIZED NOTEBOOKS AND CONFIGURED 18 VIRTUAL SERVERS WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY ASSURING NCG2 COMMUNICATIONS WERE OPERATIONAL THROUGHOUT 24 HOUR HELP DESK OPERATIONS DURING TWO FIELD TRAINING EXERCISES. FINALLY, HE AUGMENTED THE AUXILIARY SECURITY FORCE FOR 260 HOURS, SERVING AS ARMED SENTRY CONTROL POINT FOR NAVAL CONSTRUCTION BATTALION CENTER. PETTY OFFICER COX'S MANAGERIAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

SERGEANT GENARO PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE DEMONSTRATED A THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF HIS JOB WHILE MAINTAINING CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WITH THE SPECIAL PURPOSE MARINE AIR GROUND TASK FORCE TO MAINTAIN ONE HUNDRED PERCENT COMBAT READINESS AT ALL TIMES. SERGEANT GENARO COMPLETED OVER 250 TROUBLE TICKETS SUPPORTING LOCAL AND ENTERPRISE VIP'S ENSURING THEY WERE ABLE TO USE AND EMPLOY ALL COMPUTER ASSETS AVAILABLE FOR ALL DOMAINS INCLUDING MCEN-N, MCEN-S, AND ME NETWORKS. SERGEANT GENARO'S MANAGERIAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AND THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
