Electrician's Mate (EM) Evals
**OUTSTANDING LEADER, HARD WORKING AND DEDICATED!!!**
- EFFECTIVE SUPERVISOR. As 06B LPO, he led 13 Sailors in the execution of training, PMS and Electrical Safety. He scheduled, and Supervised, over 450 maintenance checks, totaling 66.4 man hours with zero discrepancies contributing to a command score of 97% for the command 3M Inspection. His excellent leadership and training abilities led to 6 Sailors obtaining their ESWS, Damage Control Qual 307-312 and 3M Work Center Supervisor.
- COMMAND AFFILIATE. As one of the thirty-two members on the Command Damage Control Training Team he efficiently assists in Damage control training and preparation. With every drill he is actively training personnel on hose handling, boundary setting, and investigating surrounding areas. Petty Officer ECCLES was instrumental in the emergent troubleshooting and repairof a dualhigh data rate antenna failure onboard USS HAWAII (SSN 776). His attention to detail and level of knowledge lead to his sail team executing 1,885 hours of sail work safely and efficiently over ten days, saving the Navy $1.5M.
- GLOBAL CIVIL OUTREACH. While on deployment, he dedicated 26 off-duty hours volunteering and giving back to the community. Cleaning up the playground and an abandoned building at the Jinhe Hope Home Orphanage and feeding the homeless at the St. Vincent De Paul Men's Center was among the many hours he spent. His selfless dedication impacted the Navy's mission of establishing positive foreign relations.

EM2 Liang consistently exceeds expectations with exceptional initiative, commitment to safety, and operational efficiency. He plays vital roles as TPO, Cal PO, and Tagout/Lockout authorizing officer.
He led a training program overhaul, enhancing work center efficiency and personnel competency. By meticulously tracking training progress, he ensured all personnel were qualified, contributing to outstanding performance during assessments.
As Cal PO, EM2 conducted thorough equipment inventories and maintained calibration records, ensuring all equipment functioned properly.
He oversees electrical isolations, applying safety protocols that ensure compliance and mitigate hazards. As Tagout/Lockout Officer, he implemented measures that resulted in zero safety incidents.

SUPERLATIVE TECHNICAN- EM3 Rosa's infamous motivation and willingness to perfect his craft lead him to replace 3 reverse osmosis units, refurbish and reinstall 30 motor controllers, and assist with two service diesel generator rebuilds, saving over $750,000 in depot level repairs.
NATURAL BORN SAILOR- EM3 Rosa spearheaded the disassembly and cleaning of NR 1 ship service switchboard helping to prevent casualties, as well as assisting other ships on the water front to maintain not only ship readiness, but fleet readiness in the AOR.

TECHNICAL EXPERT. Her technical acumen and leadership was on display following PSA plant re-activation and electrical groom of 4 SSDGs, 4 load centers, 2 switchboards and 15 DAUs. She identified/repaired 50 discrepancies; cleared 47 CASREPs ahead of SIOUX CITY's maiden deployment to C4F.

-GIFTED ENGINEER. Aided NAVSEA in the repairs on all six force draft blowers and lube oil service pump variable speed drive capacitor banks. Troubleshot and repaired shunt trip device on LC 41, SABT 4-109-4 and 4-63-2, four weather deck receptacles, three grounds and two shorts in the 60Hz distribution system. His troubleshooting efforts directly increased operational readiness and electrical safety standards throughout the ship.
-TEAM PLAYER. Completed 26 trouble tickets and 483 PMS checks across two work centers and assisted in the cleaning evolutions of five load centers and two switchboards being instrumental in both work centers maintaining a PAR/SAR of 100%.
-DEPENDABLE MENTOR. Continuously conducts OJT to five sailors holding in rate knowledge to the highest of standards. Trained 10 sailors on Duty Electrician, aft steering, 3M Maintenance Man, tag-out procedures and electrical safety resulting in five qualifications.

EMFN Henderson consistently demonstrates spectacular abilities to perform tasks and assume roles traditionally reserved for higher ranking Sailors.
-EXPERT ELECTRICIAN. Heavily relied upon for all electrical maintenance and repairs. His expertise in troubleshooting was essential to repairs to the propulsion controls on two Main Propulsion Diesel Engines resulting in Monsoon maintaining 48 hour ready for sea status. He received praise from READ E6 and ERAT Inspectors for material condition and knowledge of equipment.
-PROVEN LEADER. EMFN Henderson has taken responsiblity for training and qualifiying four Sailors senior to himself as Sounding Security underway showing knowledge and leadership skills well above his paygrade.
-VERSATILE PERFORMANCE. Assisted in 2 Diesel engine inspections, made repairs to three MPDEs, two fire pumps, both potable water pumps, and numerous other electrical and communications systems. He was also a key player in DCTT, MTT, and ATT drills resulting in USS Monsoons certification and continued readiness for sea.
EMFN Henderson is already performing as a seasoned Third Class Petty Officer. He has my highest recommendation for advancement!

-AUTODIDACT ENGINEER. Single handedly acquired the knowledge to revive five programs to include Calibration, Tag-Out, 3M Maintenance, Tool Issue and Electrical Safety that have been abandoned by rewriting and tailoring them to meet standards which is vital and essential for NWS Earle mission.
-CORNERSTONE LEADER. Leads three programs: 3M, Electrical Safety and Tag-Out. Supervising sixteen Sailors in conducting maintenance safely and correctly on six harbor security boats and five oil response crafts under OB01 Work-Center, raising valuable skills and technical knowledge, promoting self-confidence while maintaining operational readiness.
-CONSUMMATE PRECEPTOR. Trained four Sailors on Prime Mover, Two Sailors on Boom Reel Operator, Ten sailors on Maintenance Personal and sixteen Sailors on Tag-Out procedures and Electrical Safety, ensuring proper guidelines are followed and enabling them to compete with their peers.
EM1 incorporates a sense of pride and devotion to his work, division and command that is uncanny.

He led five technicians in the maintenance of 189 flight deck lights which guaranteed one hundred percent equipment availability and enabled over 8,500 successful aircraft launch and recovers in support of Operation Unified Protector.
As Electrical Safety Assistant and Electrical Tool Issue LPO, she identified and corrected 78 discrepancies, resulting in a highly successful 2014 Fleet Maintenance Activity Assessment.
DYNAMIC TRAINER. In addition to training 15 duty Tool Issue Room Custodians, she developed and implemented a training program to improve the crew's knowledge of Shipboard Electrical Safety. Her efforts were critical in eliminating electrical shock incidents and ensuring the safe issue of tools in support of the ship's repair mission.
Chief Parker's exceptional leadership as detachment Leading Petty Officer aboard USS MASON while deployed in support of Combined Task Force 151 Counter Piracy Operations was vital to successful operations.
ENGINEERING LEADING PETTY OFFICER, ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, USS VANDEGRIFT (FFG 48). During ULTRA-E USS VANDEGRIFT reached minimal equipment significantly ahead of schedule and subsequently attained Engineering Certification. He completed over 200 maintenance checks in preparation for a successful 3M Assessment during which his work center achieved an overall score of 98%. Mentored and provided vital training to over 20 junior Sailors. Personally responsible for the training and qualification of 12 watchstanders.
His vigilance as a watchstander prevented a fire when he discovered #1 Priming Pump Controler malfunctioning. As Ship's Calibration Coordinator, he successfully performed an overdue Diesel trend analysis and achieved a satisfactory grade during the Ship's Calibration recertification. His technical experience and skill were vital in the repair to the #1 MG-TG and #1 MSW pump breakers.
Returned from assignment fully requalified on multiple T/M/S. Received Sailor of the Quarter 2nd Quarter FY 2016.
Serving as Electrical Division's Leading Petty Officer onboard USS HAWAII, Chief Walker expertly led and mentored junior Sailors during a Western Pacific Deployment, several arduous upkeep periods, and numerous ship-wide inspections. His detailed knowledge of ship's equipment and operations allowed him to expertly supervise repairs to critical ship's equipment.
