- PROACTIVE LEADER. During OPERATION NORTHERN EDGE 2021, expertly led 21 Sailors in the installation of 2 LCAC BAAS Kits and completion of 2 hourly maintenance packages encompassing 300 situational PMS checks with 0 discrepancies. His efforts directly resulted in 2 LCACs being fully combat-ready for missions in arctic conditions.
- GOAL ORIENTED. As Lead Deck Engineer embarked onboard RUSHMORE in support of OPERATION OPPORTUNE LIFT, successfully led 5 Sailors in the replacement of 2 CGVAs while maintaining a 100% PMS PAR score of 2 LCAC, ensuring a flawless turnover of LCAC 80 and LCAC 82 to NBU-7. During Fleet Week San Francisco, he hosted 47 tour groups of 940 civilians and 52 NJROTC cadets showcasing the pride & professionalism of ACU-5.

As OPS Dept 3M Assistant, spearheaded the complete installation of 2 Force Revisions for 4 detachments and 31 workcenters, earning an average Periodic Assessment Report score of 92%. Trained 4 Divisional 3MA, 31 WCS, and 63 Maint Persons. Supervised the submission of 39 feedback reports, 4K maintenance actions, 2K equipment validations, and 2K spot checks. RSCA: 3.95.

TECHNICAL EXPERT- GSM2 successfully led 4 sailors in the removal and installations of (2) GTG cooling air piping isolators, and replacement of NR 3 GTG seawater cooling strainer. Also led 2 sailors in the overhaul and replacement of 1A GTM Power turbine break booster pump, conducted corrective maintenance on both 1A and 1B GTM PT brakes, helped rebuild 2A FOSP, contributed to the successful overhaul and replacement of NR 1 F/O PURIFIER, NR 1 FUEL SERVICE HEATER, and with the combined effort of another sailor, the overhaul and replacement of both STERN TUBE SEAL AIR PRESSURING SYSTEM. Also served as an Assist Oil-King on board ensuring successful transfer of over 1 million DFM both I/P and U/W, successful INSURV CHECKS on all LPAC and 2 STERN TUBE allowing MP DIVISION to score above average in the fleet.
WORK ETHICS- Petty Officer Evbenata is a hard-charging Petty Officer with a high level of initiative and dedication. In less than 4 months he has successfully trained over 40 sailors both in and out of rate in getting qualified in ESWS, DEPT sailors of (3 EPCC operators, 5 PSM, 4 ERO). Also while serving as ETT on board ROSS, always contributes full measure to any task and his willingness to accept added responsibility increases his potential for positions of more responsibility.

Maintenance man assigned to the Gas Turbine Shop at MARMC. Petty Officer Zorro showed astounding leadership and subject matter expertise. Countless ships in the Mid-Atlantic fleet retained or achieved operational readiness due to his exceptional work on GTB22, GTB12, and GTB24 inspections, and the emergency engine change out of 1A GTM on DDG51 - USS Arleigh Burke.
While attached to Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Petty Officer Zorro led the replacement of 13 gas turbine engines, one Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) compressor change, two GTG diffusers, and one GTG turbine inlet casing.
-TECHNICAL EXPERT. Marine Gas Turbine Inspectors commended him for his in-depth knowledge of technical policy and procedures while documenting over 20 discrepancies as the Marine Gas Turbine Record Custodian. By overhauling the scavenge pumps and replacing L/O supply check valves, GSM1 Turbine repaired L/O sump leaks on NR1 & NR2 GTE s resulting in Engineering Max Plant Reliability.
While serving as EM02 Workcenter Supervisor, GSM1's expert knowledge of the ship's Propulsion Engineering Plant system ensured that PRINCETON safely and successfully expedited 2A GTM Main Engine Change out, allowing PRINCETON to sustain operational commitment for deployment. In preparation for SurgePAC, assisted in the removal of NR2 2 Waste Heat Boiler for the Smart Ship configuration. Dilligently conducted Emergent replacement of 2A GTM Power Turbine Brake DURING SurgePAC.
Served as the Joint Oil Analysis Program Laboratory Leading Petty Officer and supervised the receipt, testing and analysis of 20,109 oil samples for over 200 multi-service commands and organizations. He is also the only JOAP Lab in the fleet to implement NAVSEA 04XQ compliant accreditation laboratory standards.
Deck Engineer for LCAC 38 during Bold Alligator 2014. He directly contributed to the safe loading and movement of 20 Dutch vehicles, 200 foreign national military personnel, and 20,000 pounds of cargo.
At AMC Terminal Norfolk, GSM3 Lewis assisted in spotting and removing large FOD near a 767 Atlas Air during a Jet Way push back which saved the aircraft from sustaining a large amount of damage.
Petty Officer Johnson's efforts were instrumental to ten depot-level repair jobs across the engineering plant during CMAV which included 2A lube oil service pump, NR1 and NR2 GTG lube oil cooler, and NR2 CRP pump removal and installation which led to a successful LOA. Spent numerous on- and off-duty hours ensuring four work centers were updated in preparation for 3M inspection.
GSM2 was instrumental in the transfer of 2.2 million gallons of Diesel Fuel Marine (DFM) and 1.5 million gallons of JP-5 while serving on board the USNS Yukon, Cesar Chavez, and Rappahhonck.
He served as work center supervisor for EM02 aboard James E. Williams (DDG5). He discovered and repaired a leak on Nr 2 GTG seawater pump.
GSM3 CHOTO DEDICATED 40 HOURS TO TRANSFERING 2,000 GALS OF F-44 TO MH-60R TO CERTIFY THE FLIGHT DECK FOR HELO OPERATIONS. ALSO PERFORMED 100 HOURS OF MAINTENANCE ON JP-5 SYS AND PUMPS TO GET THE SHIP CERTIFIED FOR JP-5 OPERATIONS. GOT OWS CERTIFIED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 5 YEARS. SPENT OVER 10 HOURS REBUILDING RELIEF VALVES TO SAVE THE NAVY OVER 5,000 DOLLARS. ALSO, SPENT 200 HOURS STRIPPING OVER 5,000 GALS OF JP-5 STORAGE AND SERVICE TANKS. TRANSFERED OVER 10,000 GALS OF INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL OILY WASTE THROUGHOUT THE SHIP AND OFF SHIP. MANAGED OVER 20 HOURS ON FOQM AND LOGM LOGS CORRECTING FUEL NUMBERS AND LUBE OIL NUMBERS. SPENT OVER 50 HOURS CONDUCTING FLASHPOINTS ON 2190 TEP TO HELP MAINTAIN CORRECT READINGS AND KEEP THE ENGINEERING PLANT FUNCTIONAL. SPENT OVER 100 HOURS CONDUCTING FSII TEST, ACIDIC, CCFD TEST ON F-44 TO HELP MAINTAIN THE MH-60R AND COMPLETE THEIR OPERATIONS AND KEEP THERE EQUIPMENT FUCNTIONAL.
