Her efforts were essential to the command earning the 2018 Battle E and Safety S awards.
-TRUE PROFESSIONAL. A catalyst to the transfer and acceptance of over 1,000 work center tools during the successful transition from the F/A-18C to the F/A-18E aircraft. Her keen attention to detailed yielded zero discrepancies during the 2019 CSFWL Maintenance Program Assist, contributing to the command overall grade of 91% and its certification as Safe-for-Flight. Additionally, she played a key role during the 2019 CWTPI, resulting in a grade of 780 out of 800.

Petty officer Vernon served as a Ordnance shift supervisor, qualifing one Quality Assurence Saftey Observer, four team leaders and new ordnance team members. As night shift supervisor he led a cohesive team to upload and download of 80,000 lbs of ordnance.
