MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS COMMAND CLIMATE SPECIALIST FROM FEBRUARY 2022 TO APRIL 2023. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER WARREN DEMONSTRATED SUPERIOR LEADERSHIP AND MANAGERIAL ABILITY WHILE MASTERFULLY LEADING THREE COMMAND RESILIENCE TEAMS OF 33 SAILORS AND CIVILIANS THROUGH THREE COMMAND CLIMATE ASSESSMENTS. THESE TEAMS SURVEYED 43 FOCUS GROUPS WHICH RESULTED IN OVERALL INCREASED UNIT MORALE AND COHESIVENESS. ADDITIONALLY, HE ORGANIZED 13 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT FAMILIARIZATION COURSES AT FOUR LEARNING SITES AND LOWERED OVERALL COMMAND INTAKE REPORTS BY 80 PERCENT. MOREOVER, HE REVIVED A DORMANT COMMAND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM FOR 135 SAILORS TO STRIVE FOR PERSONAL EXCELLENCE, QUALIFIED 17 SAILORS AS OFFICER OF THE DECK, AND LED SEVEN CSADD EVENTS. BY HIS EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER WARREN REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING ONBOARD PRECOMMISSIONING UNIT MICHAEL MONSOOR (DDG 1001) FROM FEBRUARY 2018 TO JANUARY 2019. DURING THIS PERIOD, IN PREPARATION FOR LOA 1.0 AND DC MA, PETTY OFFICER HUGHES CONDUCTED 80 HOURS OF MAINTENANCE AND INVENTORIED 840 ITEMS OF DC GEAR RESULTING IN THE SUCCESSFUL PASSING OF BOTH CERTIFICATIONS. AS A LINE COACH FOR M4, M9, AND M240B, HE QUALIFIED 35 SAILORS AND ENSURED DUTY SECTIONS HAD QUALIFIED WATCHSTANDERS. AS A MEMBER OF THE COMMAND'S STRESS RESILIENCE TRAINING SYSTEM (SRTS), HE COACHED AND TRAINED 15 SAILORS, BOTH JUNIOR AND SENIOR, IN MANAGING AND COPING WITH STRESS, ENSURING THE WELL BEING OF ALL CREW MEMBERS. PETTY OFFICER HUGHES' EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS STAFF CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST FOR THE RECRUIT EVALUATION UNIT AND AS THE DIVISION OFFICER OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL RESILIENCE AND OUTREACH PROGRAM, CAPTAIN JAMES A. LOVELL FEDERAL HEALTH CARE CENTER, FROM AUGUST 2011 TO APRIL 2014. DURING THIS PERIOD, LIEUTENANT HERMINE CAMPBELL PROVIDED COMPREHENSIVE CARE TO OVER 7,000 RECRUITS AND COORDINATED WITH RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND ON A VARIETY OF PROJECTS INCLUDING PRESENTATIONS AT RECRUIT DIVISION COMMANDERS' WEEKLY CONFERENCE AND C SCHOOL, AND WEEKLY LECTURES FOR RECRUITS UNDERGOING THE PERSONAL APPLIED SKILLS STREAMING CLASS. DURING HER TIME AT THE FEDERAL HEALTH CARE CENTER, LIEUTENANT CAMPBELL BECAME A SOUGHT AFTER EXPERT IN PERSONNEL SELECTION AND ASSISTED WITH THE MARINE CORPS SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND AND THE MARINE CORPS EMBASSY SECURITY GROUP'S ASSESSMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS. BY HER EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, LIEUTENANT CAMPBELL REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
