HIS KNOWLEDGE OF DATALINK EMPLOYMENT AND SECURITY REQUIREMENTS FACILITATED THE INTEGRATION OF REGIONAL GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL NATIONS, ENABLING SECURITY OPERATIONS IN YEMEN, AND ENHANCED REGIONAL DEFENSE AND STABILITY. HIS EXPERT MANAGEMENT AND GUIDANCE OF THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT RESULTED IN THE QUALIFICATIONS OF OVER 40 COMBAT READY AIRCREWMEN, EFFECTIVELY INCREASING THE SQUADRON'S READINESS BY FORTY PERCENT AND REDUCING THE OPERATIONAL DEPLOYMENT CYCLE FOR AIRCREWMEN. ADDITIONALLY, CHIEF NEWMAN WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE SEAMLESS INTEGRATION OF AND TRANSITION TO THE NEW SEAHAWK WEAPONS AND TACTICS PROGRAM INTO THE COMMAND.
